Shipping notes

  • When selecting UPS 2nd Day Air - please note that your order will not ship until the NEXT business day if placed after 1:30 p.m. (Eastern). UPS will then pick it up the next business day and deliver it 2 business days from the day of pick up. For example, say you place your order at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. It is then processed and picked up the following business day (Monday), and then delivered on the second business day after that, which means your package will be delivered on Wednesday. UPS does NOT COUNT the day of pick up, weekends or holidays as shipping days and this needs to be taken into consideration when choosing your shipping option.
  • The UPS driver will leave your package at the destination even if no one is available to take delivery of it. If you cannot ensure that someone will be available to accept the delivery, we recommend you either instruct UPS to hold your package or use an alternate shipping address where the driver can leave your package.
  • The Online Bookstore is not responsible for theft, loss or damage of packages left by UPS. All students are sent tracking information for their reference upon processing of orders so that each order can be monitored along the way. NO replacements will be sent.
  • Keep in mind that you need to consider PROCESSING TIME that it takes the Bookstore to complete your order prior to shipping it based on the volume of orders during the semester start rush. This processing time can be anywhere from 1-2 business days and this excludes weekends and holidays. The last pickup of the day occurs at 3:30 pm (Eastern) Monday-Friday so any orders placed after this time won't be shipped until at least the following business day.
  • Please check your order against your packing slip to confirm that everything was received. If not, you must notify us WITHIN 7 DAYS.
